Wuhan Machine Tool Co., Ltd. Founded in 1928 (Ruan Hengchang Machine Manufacturing Factory), it was taken over by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government in 1951, and successively merged with Qiao Xingfa Hardware Machine Factory and Datong Machine Factory. It was renamed Wuhan Machine Tool Factory and listed as the national production tool cutting edge grinding machine. The backbone enterprise has become one of the "Eighteen Arhats" factories in the machine tool industry.

In 2013, with the approval of Wuhan State-owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Wuhan Machine tool Factory was renamed Wuhan Machinery Co., Ltd., and the enterprise was moved from Qiaokou District to the new site in Dongxihu District, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wuhan Industrial holding Group. After more than 60 years of development and several generations of military aircraft people work hard.
